(i) a person who provided reproductive material or an embryo for use in the conception if that person is not a parent of the child, or (b) in respect of a child conceived through assisted reproduction or through insemination by a sperm donor, does not include, (a) includes a person who comes within that description by reason of the relationship of parent and child set out in this Part and Section Amendments with date in force (d/m/y)Ģ (1) For the purposes of construing any Act, regulation or, subject to subsection (3), instrument, unless a contrary intention appears, a reference to a person or group or class of persons described in terms of relationship by blood or marriage to another person, (3) For the purposes of this Part, a child conceived through assisted reproduction is deemed to have been conceived on the day the reproductive material or embryo used in the assisted reproduction is implanted in the birth parent.
